Paws To Read – After school every other Wednesday at 3:30

Does your child need practice reading aloud?

The main objective of PAWS to Read is to provide a relaxed atmosphere, which allows students to practice the skill of reading aloud.  This program was designed for children that have difficulties reading aloud, they can come in, sit down and read to Patch or Shadow without being self-conscious or feeling like they are being judged. The child relaxes, pats the attentive dog, and focuses on the reading. Reading improves because the child is associating reading with something pleasant.

We meet every other Wednesdays at 3:30, so give us a call (658-5354) or check our monthly calendar to see which dates will work for you and your child.  Program size is limited, so we ask that you sign up for a 15 minute session, sign up sheets are at the library.
